The Norwegian Ambassador will be in Mountshannon today to officially open an new White Tailed Eagle viewing point.
The pair of Eagles Saoirse and Caimin were donated from the country before setting up home on Lough Derg in 2011.

In 2013 they made history by they reared the first chicks to fly from a nest in Ireland in 110 years.
The pair successfully hatched another chick in late April of this year.
