No Change To US Pre-Clearance At Shannon And Dublin Airports

It’s business as usual at the US pre-clearance system in Shannon and Dublin airports.

The government’s received a report on the issue which was ordered after Donald Trump’s controversial travel ban was imposed in recent weeks.

It says Ireland has no jurisdiction over the ban, and according to The Irish Times, the cabinet’s agreed that pre-clearance doesn’t raise any legal issues for the government.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s expected to sign a new travel ban soon.

It’s understood Iraq will be left off his latest order, which restricts people from certain countries from visiting the United States.

During his speech he insisted it’s about keeping people safe.
