There’s good news for families awaiting housing in North Clare with work on a stalled housing development in Miltown Malbay to re-commence.
The developer of the Lus na Si (loose na shee) estate on the Mullagh Road – Multeen develpments went into liquidation leaving the estate unfinished, but Clare County Council is now set to appoint a new contractor to complete the 4.1 million euro project.
Thirty four families are waiting for the new homes in Miltown Malbay and the council’s been told the stalled project affected many construction workers and subcontractors in the area.
