A North Clare publican is calling for the Pandemic Unemployment Payment to be scrapped with immediate effect.
The phasing out of the state support is underway, with further cuts planned for November and February.
There are currently more than 2,500 people in Clare still availing of the PUP.

Owner of the Monks Restaurant in Ballyvaughan, Patrick O’Donoghue says the hospitality sector is crying out for staff and he believes that stopping the support would help.
