A North Clare restaurant owner believes the government is unfairly targetting the hospitality sector in plans to only allow those who are fully vaccinated to access indoor dining.
Following yesterdays crunch talks with industry representatives and government officials, six options will be presented to Cabinet next Tuesday for a final decision.
However, most options will focus on devising a system that allows only vaccinated people and those recovered from Covid to avail of indoor service, with hospitality bodies being told that primary legislation and regulations will be required for publicans.
