The number of people claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Clare has grown again to it’s highest level in over six months.
More than 10,500 people will receive the government support today – an increase of almost 1,200 on last week.
It is still lower than the peak of 14,600 which was reached in May last year.

Seperately, more than 200 more people in Clare ahve begun claiming the Enhanced Illness Benefit in the past week.
