There has been a fall in the number of private cars licensed for the first time in Clare in the past month.
August 2021 saw 290 private cars licenced for the first time in Clare, compared to 497 in the month previous.
According to CSO figures, August 2021 saw the second lowest number this year with only June registering less, at 237.

In August 2020, the number stood at 404 – 114 more than in the same period this year.
