A group of TDs and Senators look set to seek further information from the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Transport in relation to the use of Shannon Airport by the US Military.
Members of the Oireachtas Petitions Committee were in Shannon yesterday where they met with Airport officials, local Gardaí and members of Shannonwatch.

The anti-war group had petitioned the committee to investigate the use of Shannon by the US, and whether this compromises Irish neutrality.
