A number of projects in Ennis town centre could benefit from a new EU fund aimed at the revitalisation of the town.
One million euro has been granted to Ennis as designated hub town but the money must be matched by a further million euro in order for the process to go ahead.

The fund, which must be spent within three years, is geared towards specific large-scale projects and the two projects likely to benefit from it are the revitalisation of the height and the upgrading of Parnell Street.
