One person’s being treated in Limerick Regional Hospital following a crash between a van and a JCB digger on the Doonbeg to Kilkee Road.
The incident occurred at Corbally- around seven miles south of Kilkee shortly before 1 o’clock

Its understood the van collided into one of the JCB’s buckets or loaders.
The female driver, who in her forties and was in the county on business – sustained injuries in the collision but her condition isn’t described as life threatening.
The road at Corbally was closed for several hours , but the crash has now been cleared and the route has reopened to traffic.
