One Point Difference Between Two Main Parties In Latest Poll

A narrow gap between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil means the chance of a snap election has lessened.

A new poll in today’s Irish Times claims Enda Kenny’s followers have 28 per cent support, while Micheál Martin’s have 29.

The two parties were at logger heads yesterday over the complete scrapping of water charges.
