Clare's Fianna Fáil TD insists that the ongoing delay in providing flood protection works in Newmarket on Fergus is having an impact on the viability of the Ennis Limerick rail service.
Timmy Dooley, who's Fianna Fáil Transport Spokesman, is commenting as track inspections are being carried out this lunchtime ahead of the first service in five months being operated this evening.

Deputy Dooley is calling on both sides to sit down together to find a solution.
