Dublin City Council has refused an event licence for 2 Garth Brooks concerts at Croke Park.
3 of the 5 gigs scheduled for later this month have got the go ahead.
The city council has yet to issue it's formal decision, but the GAA has confirmed the gigs for Monday the 28th and Tuesday the 29th will not now go ahead.
160,000 will be left disappointed by the decision to refuse permission for 2 of the sell out gig's.
Meanwhile, Iarnród Éireann has confirmed that customers who booked rail travel to attend any Garth Brooks concerts which are cancelled will be refunded for their train bookings in full.
The company says it has already blocked further bookings on its website for extra late night services which had been planned to operate on the nights of 28th and 29th July.
