Clare County Council is predicting a another bumper season at Loop Head Lighthouse for 2015.
The West Clare landmark welcomed over 20,000 people this year and the local authority is crediting the opening of the Wild Atlantic Way, new routes to Shannon Airport and a general up turn for the record attendances.

Management have recieved positive feeback from local businness people, claiming visitors are spending their money locally.
Director of Services with the Council Ger Dollard says attention in the coming days will turn to next year and the improvements that can be made.
