Fine Gael may be top of the polls, but next month’s budget could see them take a hit in the popularity stakes.
A new ‘Behaviour and Attitudes’ poll in this morning’s Sunday Times has placed the party on 30 per cent – down only one point since the last opinion poll.

Fianna Fail have seen the biggest jump in support to 22 per cent, leaving them in second place – up a total of six points.
Sinn Fein are now the third most popular party in the country, down four points – to 14 per cent.
While Labour have taken another hit and fallen a further two points to just 12 per cent support.
