The Ennis Councillor who quit the Labour Party over the government’s planned cuts in the health service says a partial u-turn from the Health Minister’s is insufficient.
Councillor Paul O’Shea has welcomed the decision to maintain spending on personal assistants, but feels more is required.

The proposal formed part of 130m euro cutback plan announced last Thursday, measures which have prompted the now Independent Councillor to organise a public meeting in Ennis for next Monday night.
He feels large numbers of Clare residents remain worried.
