Over 8 million for Clonlara Sewage Scheme and Water Conservation Works

 

Over 8.7 million euro is being pumped into 2 new  water services projects set to get underway in Clare this year.

In the government’s water investment programme 2010-2012, work on the Clonlara Sewage Scheme at an estimated cost of 2.4 million along with 6.2 million euro worth of Water Conservation Stage 3 works are due to get underway this year.

The figures also show the projects currently beingcarried out include the Corrofin Sewage Scheme, Phase 2 of The Lisdoonvara Water Supply Scheme , the Quilty Scarrif and Feakle Sewage Scheme and Water Conservation Stage 1&2 works- at a combined estimated cost of over 30 million euro..

Meanwhile a number of other projects are also in the pipeline; Phase 1 & 2  of the Ennis Clarecastle Sewage Scheme – which focus on the Clareabby and Clonroadmore waste water treatment plants; The Kilrush and Kilkee Sewage Scheme along with another scheme  in Shannon.
