Overcrowding Comes Down Once Again At UHL

Overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has reduced again for the second day in a row.

There are 39 patients waiting for a bed at University Hospital Limerick today, according to the INMO – 25 of these in the emergency department.

It’s down from a figure of 53 patients on trolleys in Dooradoyle yesterday – but UHL remains the most overcrowded hospital in the country.
