Overcrowding has again increased at the region’s main hospital today.
55 patients are waiting for a bed this morning at University Hospital Limerick in Dooradoyle according to the INMO.
The next busiest facility is less than half that number, with 23 people waiting for a bed at Cork University Hospital.

It comes on a day when 182 people are awaiting a bed at hospitals across the country.
