Parents of children with special needs have marched through the streets of Ennis today demanding no further cuts to resource teaching hours and an increase in the level of SNA positions in local schools.
The Education Minister announced a u-turn on a proposed 10% cut to resource teaching yesterday and insists there’ll be no cut in Special Needs Assistants.

But these parents told Clare FM it was still important to send out a message to government that vulnerable children should receive maximum supports.
