Earlier this week Mary Lou McDonald signalled her party might consider revising its policy on coalitions – and MAY be prepared to serve as junior partner to someone else.
Yesterday Taoiseach Enda Kenny also signalled that while it was off the table in this term, there COULD be a time when Sinn Féin and Fine Gael join forces.
This has been met with backlash from some party members but Minister of State Pat Breen says a coalition with any party can't be ruled out in the current economic climate.
