The Education Minister will be in Clare and Galway this week to address two of the annual teachers conferences set to be dominated by the pay deal.
Mary Coughlin is likely to face a tough crowd for her first official engagement in her new brief when she meets members of the INTO in Salthill this morning who are set to debate an emergency motion calling on members to reject the public sector pay and reform deal.
Minister Coughlin then heads to Ennis tomorrow where she will address members of the TUI whose executive has recommended the rejection of the pay deal.
