Clare’s Fine Gael Senator says a commitment from Pfizer BioNTech provides some assurance to people of this county who are still waiting on their first dos of the vaccine.
The Taoiseach has confirmed that Ireland will receive an extra 545,000 doses of the two dose vaccine between now and June.
It’s after the European Commission secured 50 million additional doses for quarter 2.
