Events will be held throughout Clare over the coming days, to mark Positive Ageing Week.
The week, which is being organised by Age Action, is in it's 12th year and aims to celebrate growing older.

Here, events are being held over the coming days at Nursing Homes in Athlunkard and Kilrush, and in branches of the Clare County Library.
Eamon Timmins, Spokesperson for Age Action, says it is an opportunity for communities to recognise the contribution older people make to society.
