An Post has confirmed six Clare post offices targeted to close under the company’s consolidation plan.
Offices in Cooraclare, Craggah, Cree, Doonbeg, Kilfenora and Lissycasey will have their services transferred to neighbouring towns and villages.
An Post says 159 postmasters nationally will retire under its consolidation plans.
