A post mortem has confirmed that a man who died after an attack at his Limerick flat over the weekend was killed by a single stab wound to the back.
Gardai found Patrick Redmond lying seriously injured at his home at Mount Kenneth Place at around 2 o’clock on Sunday morning.

The father of three – who was originally from Dublin – was brought to University Hospital Limerick, where he was later pronounced dead.
