Compliments are being paid to the voluntary services in Clare for the role they played in the recent flood relief efforts.
As the clean up operation continues for many, flood vicitms have paid tribute to the Civil defence for their efforts in assisting the Gardai, Fire services, Council and army personnell during the recent crisis in Ennis, Clonlara, Sixmilebrdige, and Carron.
Ennis Councillor Tony Mulqueen is one of those victims, as he was forced to evacuate his flooded home off the Tulla Road.
