The Prince of Wales has laid a wreath at the 1916 memorial in Glasnevin Cemetary.
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla also visited the graves of revolutionaries Michael Collins and ex Taoiseach, President and Clare TD Eamon de Valera.
The future King is also paying a visit to Government Buildings to meet Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
