A group of investors is taking a stake worth over 1-point-1 billion euro in Bank of Ireland.
It means the bank will avoid having to go into full State ownership.
Provided the move gets approval from regulators, a minimum of 68 per cent of Bank of Ireland will be under private sector ownership.
