Residential property prices increased by over five per cent in the year to November.
However, figures released by the CSO show the majority of the rise is still occuring in Dublin, where prices are now thirteen point eight percent higher than a year ago.

In the Rest of the country residential property prices were unchanged in the month of November.
The index is based on mortgages drawn down, so does not include cash purchases – which are said to be strong.
