It continues to be a buyers market when it comes to Clare’s housing stock.
End of year figures from property website Daft.ie show prices in the county in late 2012 were 15% lower than a year previously, compared to a fall of 14% seen in the year to late 2011.

The average house price in Clare is now 144,000 which is over 50 percent below peak levels while prices in areas like Dublin are continuing to show a stabilisation- which is backed up by a separate property price report today from My Homelike
Economist with Daft, Ronan Lyons believes signs of recovery in Dublin will start to spread nationwide.
