There’s some good news for commuters on the Ennis to Limerick Motorway as the government scraps proposals for a second toll outside Clare’s County Town.
The plan would have seen tolls placed on eight routes nationwide, and would have raised an estimated 62 million euro for the exchequer.
However, the Transport Minister has confirmed no toll will be placed on the M18, at the Ennis Bypass and it’s believed to be unlikely that extra tolls will be placed elsewhere
