Proposals on the re-installation of the diving boards in Kilkee are set to be brought forward early next year.
The popular boards were removed from Newfoundout in 2014 after they were damaged and while local fundraising saw new ones purchased, it wasn't possible to get a certificate to clear them for use outdoors.

Clare County Council says it's engaging with a specialist marine consultant to ensure the installation of new boards meets health and safety criteria.
West Clare Independent Councillor Ian Lynch says the process of returning the boards has been frustratingly slow.
