A protest is to be held today against the US military’s continued use of Shannon airport to transport it’s troops
Shannon Watch, the organisers of today’s rally, say they are holding the demonstration during this election campaign in an effort to put the issue on the agenda once again.
The protest will be held just outside the main airport entrance this afternoon.
