The renaming of Friars Walk in Ennis is to go to public consultation.
If the idea – which aims to recognise the contribution to education made by the Sisters Murphy – could see the street partially renamed to Bothair Na Trocaire.

The sisters originally donated the land for the development and a recent meeting of Ennis Municipal District heard of their disappointment that the contribution hasn't been marked in some way.
