Environmentalist Duncan Stewart will be in West Clare this evening as proposals for a new windfarm near Miltown Malbay are unveiled.
The proposal lies on 650 acres of farmland with 15 wind turbines stretching across the townlands of Coor/Shanavogh and Mullagh near Miltown Malbay

The 45 million euro project will see land leased from local landowners on a site zoned for windfarm development.
However the proposal is still in the early stages with planning permission yet to be sought by the group involved in the development.
