A public meeting is to be held in Shannon in the coming weeks as plans for a new civic and arts centre in Clare’s secondary town take shape.
A group, called The Shannon Venue Ltd., has secured a one-acre site in Shannon Town Centre where the project would be located, provided planning permission is granted.
The land was previously owned by Shannon Development.
A public meeting on the development will take place at the Oakwood Arms Hotel on Wednesday, September 4th.
