Clare Councillors have called for the immediate banning of ‘Head Shops’
The shops, which sell so-called ‘legal highs’, were widely criticised by members of Ennis Town Council at their meeting yesterday.

The Council unanimously approved a motion calling for a review of the products sold in the shops, and for their immediate closure until such a review is completed.
Independent Councillor Tommy Brennan thinks regulation in this area is urgently needed.
