Public urged to support first ever Sky Ride Etape Hibernia

People across Clare are being encouraged to come out in force and support Ireland’s first ever closed cycling event in the county tomorrow.

There are nearly 2000 participants in the Etape Hibernia which will start and end in Ennis but take in large parts of North and West Clare along the route.

However a number of roads will be closed from early morning to facilitate the cyclists but the organisers say they have been working closely with local communities to keep disruption to a minimum.
