It’s claimed that two new wards and 50 beds for Ennis General Hospital are nothing new.
Building works on the new developments at the county hospital have been announced by Clare Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley, but his positive outlook on the news has been rejected by local hospital campaigners.
Ennis West Councillor James Breen says the new developments are only replacing facilites and beds which have been lost in recent closures
