Questions have been raised about the amount of money Clare County Council is spending on human resources issues.
The council has paid out 177,000 euro to the Local Government Services Management Board for HR and industrial relations support in the past two years, and Shannon Councillor Patricia McCarthy has questioned the value they’re getting in return.
Given extra budget constraints, she’s hoping future savings can be made in this area
