A Quin man who is recovering from prostate cancer has urged all men to get checked for the disease.
This month, which has been dubbed as Blue September, sees an effort to raise awareness of the condition, which affects 1 in 7 men in Ireland throughout their lifetime.
Over 3,000 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer in Ireland last year.
