Rally Organised In Ennis In The Wake Of Aer Lingus’ Cabin Crew Base Closure At Shannon Airport

A Clare based organisation is calling for the government to intervene amid fears of a loss of connectivity at Shannon Airport, following a decision by Aer Lingus to close their cabin crew base there

It comes as the Save our Shannon group or SOS held a rally in Ennis town centre earlier today. The gathering was limited to 15 people due to Covid-19 restrictions but despite the small crowd, was deemed a success

The group is campaigning to keep Shannon Airport open and voice local concern about the airport, it’s strategic position in the Mid West and it’s management
