A niece of fashion designer Ralph Lauren has told Killaloe District Court that she intends to plead guilty to charges following an alleged air rage incident on board a flight diverted to Shannon Airport.
41 year old Jenny Lauren appeared before the court today, charged with being drunk and a danger to herself and other passengers; behaving unruly despite requests from the air crew to stop; and with engaging in a threatening, abusive or insulting manner.

The incident saw the Delta Airlines flight, which was travelling from Barcelona to New York, diverted to Shannon yesterday.
Judge Patrick Durkan has remanded Ms Lauren on bail of €2500 to appear before Ennis District Court tomorrow.
