The Minister in charge of the OPW says the re-location of families will have to be considered as part of efforts to resolve flooding issues in communities in Clare.
Minister Simon Harris says the results of a comprehensive nationwide study, CFRAM, will be released this summer and outline solutions in 11 Clare communities, including some that have been hardest hit in recent weeks.

In many cases, this will identify works that are required but in a Dáil discussion with Clare Fianna Fáil TD Timmy Dooley, Minister Harris said some people may be encouraged to leave their homes.
