It’s claimed students in Clare are being “blocked” from education due to SUSI grant applications being refused by the body.
Almost 1 in 5 SUSI grant applications in this county for the last academic year were denied with some being affected by the pandemic unemployment payment.
This news comes in the wake of an increase to the grant being announced in the Budget for the first time in a decade.
