Recruitment is underway ahead of the re-opening of community childcare centres in Kilrush and Kilkee.
It follows an agreement between Pobal, the Clare Local Development Company and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs over the management of the service.

It brings to an end a long-running period of uncertainty for parents in Kilkee and Kilrush following the shock closure of the West Clare Early Years Services in February, with the loss of 400 childcare places across West Clare and over 50 jobs.
It's hoped the service will resume before the end of the month and Sorcha Daly of the West Clare Community Childcare Action Group says parents are relieved that the situation has finally been resolved:
