Clare’s dole queues shortened in August, for the first time in three months
A county-wide reduction of 241 has been recorded by the CSO, with the numbers signing on falling in each of the county’s social welfare offices of Ennis, Ennistymon, Kilrush and Tulla.

Despite this, almost 10,200 Clare residents are still claiming some form jobseekers benefit, though the last twelve months have seen a fall of almost 500 in Clare’s dole queues.
