Groups from Bunratty, Ennis and Westbury will represent County Clare in this year’s IPB Pride of Place competition.
The Bunratty Local Development Association has been nominated in the Community Tourism initiative category, recognising their work in maintaining the village and in restoration works.
Ennis Tidy Towns has been nominated in a category for larger towns, in honour of their work, while the 900-home Moorings estate in Westbury, which is home to a wildlife-supporting pond, has been nominated in the Housing Estates category.

Judging will take place between June and August and the winners will be announced in a ceremony at the end of November
