The regions main hospital remains one of the most overcrowded in the country today.
According to figures provided by the INMO, 35 people are on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick, 20 of those in Emergency Department.
University Hospital Galway has 33 patients without a bed, while the national figure stands at 325.
